Job Description
Hours: M-F 8AM-4PM Pay: $25/H Position Overview: This position is responsible for providing assistance to Teacher Advisors in academic and classroom activities and provides remedial or individual academic support/tutoring to students based on individual need.
Role and Responsibilities - Assists students, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning math concepts.
- Provides tutoring in math, both in writing and utilizing computer programs.
Qualifications and Education Requirements Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required,
- Educational records (high school or college transcripts) that demonstrate knowledge and skill in math.

- Upholds the ethical standards of the Agency and 6B-1.001 Code of Ethics of the Education Profession in Florida.
- Follows policies and procedures of the Agency
- Must work evenings and weekends as required to fulfill workload requirements.
- Must be able to travel by automobile, plane, train, etc.; occasional overnight travel may be required
Preferred
- Associates Degree
- Minimum six months experience in an educational environment

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics can be stressful, is fast-paced and requires alertness and flexibility. The noise level is usually quiet; however, noise can accelerate to moderate and high levels.
