Job Description

Harmony Home and Garden is looking for a Seasonal Garden Center Associate to join our team. This position supports daily operations by assisting with customer service, plant care, promoting sales, specials and programs, organizing inventory and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This position requires physical stamina, ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, comfort working with customers and a cash register, all with a positive team-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities
Water plants and monitor for quality and health issues
Restock sales areas and maintain clean and attractive displays
Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance
Operate register
Assist customers with sales including loading purchases into vehicles
Support seasonal and promotional setup
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Maintaining cleanliness of store
Qualifications
1 year work experience (in a garden center ideally)
Ability to lift 30lbs
Stand, bend and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong organizational skills
Strong work ethic and reliability
Knowledge of Trees, Shrubs, Annuals and Perennials a plus
Schedule
September through December
Part Time
Friday - Monday (4 days)
8am - 5pm
