Housekeeping and Laundry Aide Responsibilities

• Perform routine housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming facility.
• Provide laundry services for residents, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing personal clothing and linens.
• Clean resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned areas in accordance with facility standards.
• Follow appropriate infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping and laundry supplies and equipment in an organized manner.
• Work cooperatively with residents, families, coworkers, and other departments.
• Help maintain a positive, comfortable, and respectful environment for residents.

Housekeeping and Laundry Aide Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, laundry, or environmental services experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to perform routine and repetitive cleaning and laundry tasks.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage assigned responsibilities.
• Dependable, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and resident service.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with residents, visitors, coworkers, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Compassionate and respectful when working with elderly, ill, or disabled residents.
